Get to Know Us
Findlay Church is an independent evangelical church in the lower Maryhill district of Glasgow, close to Charing Cross and Sauchiehall Street in the City Centre. Under the leadership of our Pastor, Peter Collison and a number of supporting Teams, the church offers a vibrant and spiritual home for a wide range of ages, including families, youth, students, committed to meeting for worship, teaching, fellowship and serving our Community by "Making God's love visible". The Bible forms the basis of all that we do. We want to share the good news of Jesus’ message with others so that they can join us with the same desire for growth in our Christian lives and in service to each other and those in our community.
While our building is mainly closed just now, look out for our "Passing-by" table at the front entrance on a Monday morning (Covid restrictions permitting) when some friendly folk from Findlay will be there to say "Hello" or give you information. You can get a takeaway cup of tea or coffee or take time for a chat or prayer if that would help.
You may also come across a couple of our Community staff sitting on benches in Glenfarg Street at the back of the Church just waiting for you to say "Hello"
We just love meeting neighbours in the Community and want to be a listening ear.

Sunday Morning (Meantime) find us on You Tube each Sunday: 11.00am - 12.00pm
This Covid Virus has sadly interrupted our normal Sunday services in the Church, so meantime you can join with us at 11.00am on YouTube. However when we get back... this is what happens... Our Sunday morning service is the main time when the Church family gathers for a time of worship, teaching and fellowship. Everyone, including children meet together for the first part of the service when worship is led by one of the Praise Bands. Children and youth leave after 35 mins or so to go to Discovers (P1-P5) and Bible Classes (P6–S6). After further worship, Bible reading and Offering, our Pastor (or visiting speaker) will share what God has shown him, often following through a series or a book of the Bible.
Sunday Evening Service (Suspended meantime): 6.30pm - 8.00pm
Our evening service can take different directions, being less structured than the morning service. This might be a regular service with worship and teaching, or might have discussion groups or have a different flavour with a variety of topics, being discussed.
